Complimentary Consultation

At your first visit we will warmly welcome you and acquaint you with the office.  The doctor will perform a comprehensive exam and discuss the following with you:

1. Is there an orthodontic concern?
2. When is the best time to begin treatment?
3. What type of treatment is necessary?
4. How long will treatment take to complete?
5. What costs are involved and what payment plans are available?

As a courtesy to you, this consultation is complimentary.

If orthodontic treatment is required the next step is diagnostic records, which typically include a medical/dental history, clinical examination, plaster study models of the teeth, photos of the patient's face and teeth, and X-rays. This information is used to develop a custom treatment plan for each patient.

After the doctors have evaluated your records, they will discuss your treatment with you in detail.

Regular Appointments

The appointment when you get your appliances (braces, expanders, etc.) usually takes one to two hours.  We prefer to schedule this appointment in the morning when it is quieter and you can have lots of one-on-one time with the doctor. We will teach you about your braces or appliance and how to care for them.

You'll then see us at regular intervals four to eight weeks apart for an adjustment, which takes 20 to 40 minutes. Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately.
